August 2, 2019 - RHIC Helps IU School of Medicine Host Annual Camp to Promote Teens to Become Doctors
This year’s theme was trauma! The participants were middle and high school students from the area. They toured our simulation ambulance, then learned hands only CPR (and competed to see who could do it best), learned how to stop bleeding with a tourniquet, splinting, insertion of IV and IO lines, intubation, and even got to participate in a scenario with EMS!
Great job to the medical students who put these camps on every year and the pre-med students who help out!
